Sat Nav (Compass Project)

Along with youth provisions and generic after school clubs and activities, KAWACC also runs a Sat Nav (Compass Project) , which is a
service that engages young people to be involved in positive and meaningful learning opportunities, gain accredited outcomes and achieve their full potential.

KAWACC provides an holistic service which young people can use as a springboard to gaining confidence and skills that allows them to progress onto mainstream education further or higher education, training or employment/ apprenticeships etc.  They learn life skills that will benefit them in all aspects of adolescence and adulthood.  The project aims to:

  • Contribute to the social, personal, emotional, physical and educational development of young people
  • Engage young Asian people living in deprived areas of Keighley
  • Raise aspirations, expectations and confidence
  • Raise awareness of health issues
Sessions are free and run every week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. To get involved please contact Naz Kazmi at the centre.
